This API changes/swaps a GSM device on the subscriber's account i.e. it replaces the old device with the new device passed in the request.

change_reason_process String Optional This is the reason for ESN/SIM swap. Based on the reason, it will set the existing ESN/SIM status in the inventory. change_device_reason_bad = This will set the old ESN/SIM into BAD status in inventory. lost_by_customer = This will set the old ESN/SIM status as REMOVED in the inventory. courtesy_change = This will set the old ESN/SIM status as FREE in the inventory. change_device_reason_bad lost_by_customer courtesy_change

ELECTRONIC: If the device look up returns the status of the ESN/SIM as Not Provisioned then you need to do the change ELECTRONIC so that the same MDN which is on the account can be attached to the New ESN/SIM both at carrier and Vcare level.
NONELECTRONIC: If the devicelookup API returns the status of the ESN/SIM as provisioned then you need to do the change NONELECTRONIC for ESN/SIM and you will also be required to change the MDN on the account as NONELECTRONIC the new MDN will be the one whic

agent_password String JohnDoe Optional This is the password for the Agent Id mentioned above. This is configuration level field. If you have set the permissions for the Agent Id for the requirement of the password in API transactions then you will need to pass the Agent Password in all the REST API transaction, else if you have set the permissions to password not required then you don't need to pass the Agent Password in the REST API.
is_esim_swap String Y or N Optional This should be "Y" if the swap is being done for eSIM device.
